About Trackpad Settings (Please Read Before Use)

This device relies on Mac trackpad gestures for operation.
For stable performance, we strongly recommend adjusting your system settings as follows:

1. System Settings

Go to System Settings → Trackpad, and turn off all gestures for 3-finger and 4-finger inputs.

2. Notes on macOS Behavior

Even after disabling all 3- and 4-finger gestures in System Settings, macOS will still treat these gestures
as scroll events.
This behavior is part of the OS specification and cannot be changed via system settings.

To override this behavior, we provide a command file that forcibly disables certain trackpad features.

3. Using the Command File

1. Locate the included disable_scroll.command file in Finder.

2. Right-click (or Control-click) the file and select “Open” from the menu.
   ⚠️ Double-clicking may result in a security warning and prevent the file from running.

3. When prompted with a security dialog, click “Open” to proceed.

4. If macOS still blocks the file, go to System Settings → Privacy & Security, scroll down to find the message about the blocked file, and click “Allow Anyway.”
   Then repeat the right-click → “Open” process.

5. Once the Terminal opens and the script runs, restart your Mac to apply the changes.

After restarting, the settings will be applied and unwanted scroll recognition should be avoided.

⚠️ Note: If you make any changes to the trackpad settings in System Settings after running the command, the effect may be canceled.
In that case, please run the command file again and restart your Mac.
